Please see your GP to be referred to the Wolverhampton Community Dermatology service. Patients can be referred into the service by electronic referral or a teledermatology referral from their GPs.
How does the Wolverhampton community dermatology service work?
We provide specialist dermatology triage through a single point of access enabling shorter waiting times and ensuring patients see the right person at the right time.
Referrals
GPs will refer suitable patients to the service.
The referral is triaged by a multi-disciplinary (MDT) consultant-led team with the following potential outcomes:
- Community clinic for face to face assessment
- Onward referral to secondary care provider
- Discharged with advice and guidance
- Teledermatology
