Amanda Phillips

Executive Director

Amanda is the Executive Director of Circle Integrated Care. She is a qualified Physiotherapist and was an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner for over 11 years gaining a broad range of musculoskeletal experience in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, rheumatology and chronic pain. Amanda is a qualified non-medical prescriber and trained to undertake intra-articular joint injections.

Amanda worked in the NHS for 16 years, undertaking a number of roles based at Lister Hospital (Stevenage); Addenbrookes Hospital and Cambridgeshire Community Services (based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital).

Throughout her career she has been determined to make a difference to patients, together with improving services as a whole. Amanda is passionate about developing integrated, streamlined models of care to provide excellent treatment to patients and ensure NHS services are sustainable in the future. She has been managing integrated services for Circle since 2014.

Lewis Rawson

Head of Clinical Services

Lewis has worked in the NHS and private sector and has over 15 years’ experience. During his time in private practice, he had the opportunity to work with some of the country’s leading MSK consultants. He has also worked as an extended scope practitioner at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, organising diagnostic tests and injection therapy, prior to joining Circle. He was the Clinical Lead for the Bedfordshire MSK service, before moving into the Head of Clinical Services role for Circle Integrated Care in 2021.

Lewis also works at the University of Hertfordshire as a visiting lecturer, where he also gained his master’s degree with distinction.

Kay Hoare

Head of Integrated Care Governance

Kay joined the Circle Integrated Care team in January 2015 as Clinical and Governance Lead. She trained as a physiotherapist at The Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy and specialised in musculoskeletal after her initial rotations.

Kay has been an Extended Scope Physiotherapist since 2000 and is also an independent prescriber. Prior to working with Circle, Kay worked in the NHS for 25 years, the majority of that time in musculoskeletal out-patient physiotherapy. Kay is also the Safeguarding Lead for Circle Integrated Care and ensures vulnerable adults are protected.

Kay is passionate about ensuring patients get the right treatment at the right time and providing a high-quality, efficient, convenient service which best serves the needs of patients.

Gemma Lougheed

Head of Operations

Gemma is the Head of Operations and Joined Circle Integrated Care in September 2021 as Operations Lead and was promoted in October 2022. After graduating with a BA Hons Gemma found a passion for operations and customer experience.

With over 16 years’ experience working with well-known leading businesses in the hospitality sector Gemma brings an abundance of knowledge in customer excellence, operations, leadership, and people development.

With a proven track record in development and succession, Gemma continues to provide expertise to help others grow and support with the future of our strategy. Her focus is to provide a positive experience to both patients and employees.
