Amanda Phillips
Executive Director, Circle Integrated Care
Amanda is the Executive Director of Circle Integrated Care. She is a qualified Physiotherapist and was an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner for over 11 years gaining a broad range of musculoskeletal experience in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, rheumatology and chronic pain. Amanda is a qualified non-medical prescriber and trained to undertake intra-articular joint injections.
Amanda worked in the NHS for 16 years, undertaking a number of roles based at Lister Hospital (Stevenage); Addenbrookes Hospital and Cambridgeshire Community Services (based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital).
Throughout her career she has been determined to make a difference to patients, together with improving services as a whole. Amanda is passionate about developing integrated, streamlined models of care to provide excellent treatment to patients and ensure NHS services are sustainable in the future. She has been managing integrated services for Circle since 2014.
Andy Horton
Director of Clinical Services, Circle Integrated Care
Andy is an experienced healthcare leader with a strong clinical background in Physiotherapy and over 16 years’ experience across both NHS and private healthcare settings. As Director of Clinical Services for Circle Integrated Care, he provides clinical oversight and strategic leadership, ensuring services are safe, effective and of high‑quality and compassionate care.
Andy is a CQC Registered Manager for Circle Integrated Care and is accountable for clinical governance, workforce development, and regulatory compliance of the services. He also serves as Director of Infection Prevention and Control and the safeguarding Named Professional for Circle Integrated Care, providing assurance across these critical domains.
Since joining Circle Health Group in 2019, Andy has led multidisciplinary teams to improve service quality, patient experience, and operational efficiency. He is a Chartered Manager and holds degrees in both Healthcare Management and Physiotherapy. Andy is HCPC registered and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Nureen Butt
Director of Integrated Care Operations, Circle Integrated Care
Nureen is an experienced healthcare leader with over 20 years’ experience across the NHS and private sector, holding a BSc in Business Information Systems. She has a strong track record of delivering meaningful change, particularly through identifying digital opportunities that streamline pathways and improve service efficiency. Having joined Circle Health Group in 2022, Nureen has led major IT and transformation programmes within acute settings, introducing digital solutions that enhance patient access, strengthen performance, and support more effective ways of working.
As the Director of Integrated Care Operations at Circle Integrated Care, Nureen provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, high‑quality care for patients. She works collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to drive continuous improvement, lead recovery programmes, and embed initiatives that deliver measurable gains in efficiency and service quality. Known for her collaborative style and commitment to patient‑centred care, she consistently champions innovation and sustainable change across the organisation.
Geno Johnson
Head of Commercial Finance, Circle Integrated Care
Geno is a CIMA‑qualified finance leader with over 20 years’ experience across healthcare and complex regulated organisations. Geno joined Circle Integrated Care in 2024. As Head of Commercial Finance, he provides financial leadership to support strategic decision‑making, commercial performance and sustainable growth.
Geno has a strong track record of partnering with executive and clinical leaders to deliver robust financial planning, insight and governance. His experience spans budgeting and forecasting, business case development, financial modelling, risk assessment and performance improvement, with a particular focus on translating financial data into clear, actionable insight.
